May 13 Jogger Joe Fun Run
The second installment of this year’s Jogger Joe Fun Runs featured a nice turnout on a foggy evening, highlighted by happy reunions among old friends. It also was a family affair, with a field made up of husbands, wives and offspring.
The run also marked a change in the starting time of the 3-mile race to 6 p.m., instead of after the completion of a 1.5-mile warm up, usually about 6:20. The switch went off without a hitch, with runners who chose to warm up arriving 15 or 20 minutes before 6. We will continue this schedule for the rest of the season.
Look forward to seeing everyone next week, and every Friday through the end of June.
